First Attempt

Morning all,

Just a quick post really just to show you some pictures of my first crochet attempt



not too bad once I got the hang of it!



One day I may even manage a whole blanket!! :)

How do you know?

Afternoon all, hope you are all well!
and thank you to the lovely ladies that all popped by to say hello yesturday, I was made to feel very welcome. :)

Today I had another attempt to Crochet, a lovely lady at work sat with me this morning showing me the basic steps and I actually think i've got it!!
Hopefully i'll have some photo's tomorrow, to show you my first attempt!

I've been thinking for a while now, long and hard about my job. Ive been here just over three years now and I am in a secretarial role. The last few months I have been finding it really hard to motivate my self and get my self to work everyday and when I do get to work i'm finding it very hard to smile and enjoy the work.
The ladies I work with are lovely and sometimes I think they are the reason I have stayed this long.
The only problem is I really dont know what to do next, do I attempt a simular job in another company or do I try something completely different? I really dont know which career path to try next, I get bored very easily and I like to be actually doing things not just sitting at a computer all day.
I will just have to keep thinking and think hard about what to do! How did you know when you found the right job??

P.s. todays fact *One of my favourite films which always puts a smile on my face is "Little Miss Sunshine" its one of those films that just makes you smile and laugh! I would highly recommend it!

A Little About Me

As promised, here are a few little facts and things about me

*I am currently 20 Years old, but feel like I was born many years to late. Alot of people call me old fashioned but I dont really mind because if i'm completely honest, I am :)*

*I enjoy making anything I can ranging from Cakes to Cards, I have recently learnt to knit. I did attempt to learn to Crochet but found it a little tricky, So i plan to have another go when I have some more time on my hands*

*I still live with my parents at the moment, but am slowly saving for my own little dream home*

*There is a MR. in my life and he has been in my life for three years now :) and puts up with all my crafty doings so as far as i'm concerned... He is Perfect*


So there are a few things to get you started and I think ill post a new fact every day! :) untill I run out of course!

Today is the first day of the new month and the first day of my blog. After viewing others blogs for many months and enjoy ready about there lives and crafty goings, I thought I'd have a little go at sharing mine. I hope to visit often and keep you up to date with Life, my crafts and other little things worth sharing!
